PrimeSpine exists for one purpose:To help people "Get Well & Stay Well"

The home practice of Alabama's first Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner, Dr. Matt Smith, PrimeSpine is located minutes from downtown Birmingham in the heart of the Vestavia City Center. Our central location makes high-quality chiropractic care easily accessible from neighborhoods like Homewood, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook and Hoover.

Dr. Smith is also the official chiropractor for the University of Alabama-Birmingham sports programs and has been since 2010. He hosts lectures in his office and regularly speaks outside the office on various health topics and how they relate to true health & wellness. Dr. Smith is dedicated to understanding the latest science behind human performance to provide you with the most effective chiropractic solutions for all your health and wellness needs.

Nobody wants to be sick. Nobody wants to feel bad. When these things happen, you need a doctor who won't just treat the symptoms of the problem, but who will find the cause of the problem and equip you with the knowledge and the resources to keep it from happening again. That's where we come in.

The name of our practice comes from the scientifically-proven fact that an optimally functioning spine plays a vital role in your overall health and well-being. Chiropractic is not just about fixing pain (although it can certainly help you with that); chiropractic is about getting the most out of your body so you can get the most out of life!

Don't just take our word for it though... Check out the Testimonials page and see for yourself what a few of our patients have to say.

If you're looking for a way to improve your overall health, Dr. Matt Smith can help you achieve your wellness goals. And, yes, if you're suffering from back pain, neck pain, headaches, muscular tightness and tension, or need additional help recovering from a sports injury, he can help you with that too.
